These standards are industry-driven and self-regulating. They are set by a committee of experienced players in the powered access rental business.
Each audited company gets a return visit from the auditors every year. In essence, the IPAF Rental+ sign distinguishes reliable suppliers of access equipment from the others.
The SAFEcontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors.
Qualified auditors take into consideration the profession, industry sector and business size, providing tailored safety audits that help to identify whether there is suitable and sufficient health and safety compliance within a business.
Once the auditing process has been successfully completed, accredited contractors can use the SAFEcontractor certificate as a means of demonstrating their level of health and safety compliance to clients and potential clients.
Obtaining the SAFEcontractor accreditation reduces the need to submit multiple health and safety questionnaires to clients, therefore saving you valuable time.
